With a formal withdrawal of LG from the smartphone market, of course there are questions about the company’s ability to support cell phones that already exist in the wild. Of course, LG promised that it would indeed continue to renew at least some of his cellphones but still visible. As if to get rid of the doubt, LG finally launched LG UX 10 with an Android update 11 for the LG Velvet LTE version, almost half a year after LG Velvet 5G accepted it.
The LG Velvet 4G itself is an oddity in the first place. Nearly two months after the original LG Velvet was announced, the company launched a variant that uses a non-5G Snapdragon 845 processor in exchange for lower price points. However, this LTE-Only model is not available in many markets, and still receives the update of Android 11 later.
LG Velvet 5G received UX 10 updates in South Korea earlier this year, followed by the US version in April. Now LG Velvet 4G also gets the same update in South Korea, months after his siblings. When arriving in another market where the same cell phone is sold is an allegation of anyone at this time.
As the main update, LG UX 10 with Android 11 brings many changes under a hood and user interface. Android 11 itself carries features such as bubble chat and notification history, but the update also adds the exclusive LG feature for the phone. Note is a quick display feature and night time from the camera application and its ability to scan the QR code.
On the one hand, the LG trace record doesn’t really make this late update surprising. However, on the other hand, it puts a shadow of doubt about his ability to continue to support the current telephone, especially now that almost no one does it again.
